characteristics of employees of the government of your city/county?! 👈I hope could know it
because they are the colleagues of those persons you may hire later, the time
they need to spend with each other just like the time they spend with their
family.
On
the contrary, what is your expectation on the personality of people you want to
hire?! What do you think about the supply and demand of the labor market for
return-to-work labors, retired labors, part-time labors, and multi-ethnic or
multi-cultural work culture? Do you hire this type of talents?
And,
is there any short term, mid-term or long term plan for improving the
employment situation in your city?! Please share this information.
There is another important topic
in recent news reports, it is the fact that in our central government units,
there are Communist spies. I hope could consult you these questions:
i.
In
your government work environment, how you ensure and avoid this situation existing,
or, how you do in checking after people are hired?!
ii. In
the overall work operation of the central government, if there is something not
in national security or interest, what local governments can do to stop this
situation from continuing those work?!
If it is appropriate, please describe how you define national security
or interest, because, take national security as an example, people may have two
kinds of idea, it includes but is not limited to complying with the remarks
or attitudes of other countries in a flattering manner in order to avoid endangering
national security as much as possible, or expressing ideas in a mutually
respectful manner and requesting exchanges of views based on those ideas, and
not directly mentioning issues that are detrimental to national security
etc.
(3) Please let people know
what resources your city or your county hope could attract, for example:
investment promotion, enhancing domestic sales or export sales, to attract
those talents you want…etc., please share why those parties need to choose your
city or county based on their purpose; please let people know the greatest opportunities and joint
resources those parties are able to obtain if they choose your city or
county, therefore, how and what opportunities you would like to advertise in
using these self media?!

Dear Mayors, please share your opinions. What’s your
advices?!
In
this topic, it is to compare the organization and environment between the
governments’ and the corporates’, it also includes the situation been reported
in recent news (2024-2025), I hope could consult to Mayors to know your
opinions or advices for those particular situation the workers may experience
at work place?! I hope to use the self media to share the response directly
from Mayors. Thank you!
(1) People who work for
MNCs, their colleagues from other countries ask this question shown below, and
if those people are the citizens of your cities or counties, what advice you
would like to provide for their response to this question?!
As
China military aircraft flew around Taiwan, I saw news reports that your
mayor was about to meet with China representatives. Other politicians
asked your mayor to ask China not to do this kind threat with military
aircraft. What willingness your mayor responded?! I didn't read it clearly, but
the newspaper said that your mayor didn’t want to do that, I think it is weird.
Colleagues
may ask when they think of this information, there may be more than 1
interested person hope could know the feedback; please Mayors share your advice
for their response to this question. What your people will find out if they
check what you’ve answered?!
This
is not only a geopolitics with less business management related theme but also
involving interpersonal skills at work, work environment and the environment of
politics, these 3 dimensions cannot be completely separated in communication.
(2) In global companies,
including Taiwan firms, there are consolidated integrated financial
statements for reviewing the financial performance of subsidiaries by
countries they locate; there is a citizen of your city/county works as the CFO
of a MNC work environment, this CFO found that in the consolidated reports, the
headquarter defines Taiwan as a province of China, this CFO hopes
to know your opinion:
Dear
Mayor, do you think I need to pretend I don’t know this situation?! Or, I need to report to the Headquarter and
let them know my attitude?! I don’t know what kind of response I will get,
however, all my team members are waiting for knowing my expressing my attitude;
our Taiwan General Manager is from other country, he told me this
situation has been for years, he doesn’t want to cause any impact on how I
think, he can’t help me because his reporting line is to another department of
the headquarter.
(3) Workers of your
city/county are asked about the resources or benefits people can get from the
governments if they hold global meetings, exhibitions or any kind of activities
in your city/county; what activities are most suitable for their holding in
your city/county?!
(4) Would you please let
people know what famous or interesting global events your city/county has held
or will hold in the future? However, under what circumstances you will or will
not invite China representatives to participate in those events you hold?
Why? This topic is based on a communication of a person from Taiwan with
her colleague from China in their meeting for the first time and the two
of them interacted very well. Based on the current situation, how do your city/county
government should respond is appropriate?!
If
you are going to reply the question of (3) and (4), and you hope there are
other users would like to use activities resources of your city/county
government, in addition to share those activities you’ve held before, I suggest
you also share those already built facilities and software or professional
service providers and talents. Thank you!
(5) I hope could consult
you the topics of interaction with the superiors, work reporting, and documents
access and review request by internal auditors; people hope could know from you
about the way you communicate with the central government ( superiors) and the
City/County Council or the Councilors, what you would like to advise for people
in below situation at work?!
i. In particular professional work field and in
some kind of management scope,
the superiors think you are in the work role and have the responsibility to do
the work control, you need to initiate some kind of action, if you need
additional work power, you need to request for having it proactively; however, in
your point of view, due to some kind of work policies or reasons, you think the
work level of work owners of those work should be the headquarter or it belongs
to your superiors departments, not you, please share what supports your
judgement of these work roles and responsibilities?!
ii. Work departments or
people who review your work reports may be your managers or internal
auditors(councilors), they are units or people being empowered to assess your
work performance, when they ask you questions or they request for accessing
documents from you for review, you find that they don’t possess enough
fundamental professional knowledge or their behavior is inappropriate, for
example: Business Confidentiality and the Protection, they don’t know they need
to get approval before asking, they [question] you rather than [asking] because
they don’t know, they are going to define you a lower rating on your work
performance, or, they want you to work with them something illegal.
Please
share how you will react?!
And,
it is like those news reported cases or people of different work function
working together for a fraud, it is possible the fact is not written or it
cannot be recorded causing no evidence left; what’s your advice for people to
deal with this kind of situation?! Or, is there any responsible work unit or
complaint procedures for this situation?!
iii.
I hope could consult you about your idea of self-identity
recognition topic if you are directly involving in the work environment like
above the CFO’s and also consider those elements in the enterprises listed like
these👉In work environment
of the companies, there is always employees who are talent-hunted and hired in
high salary, some of them are always loudly express their status as belonging to other companies in
the current work environment, it makes other colleagues think that these kind
of people do not recognize the current company they work for or these people belittle
this current company.👈Please
let people know how you would like to respond when media reporters of other
countries asking you below question, and, what are the things you need to
consider in order to answer properly in public?!👇:
Please let people
know, do you think Taiwan is a part of China?! Do you think Taiwan
belongs to China?!
(6) In (5), all the work
departments of a company do their jobs and daily activities based on the
defined work roles and responsibilities, and among all the things they need to
do, they need to consider the work priority based on the significant impact it
may cause to the company. Please share your idea:
i. Besides building up a
complete economic environment(Product Department, Sales Department
and Finance Department), currently in Taiwan, do you agree that
we should consider those impacts on national defense and education the first
priority?(Ministry of National Defense, the security department of an
enterprise; education influences on thoughts, it belongs to the Ministry of
Education, the training department of an enterprise)
ii. Based on above i, if
the Ministry of National Defense or the Ministry of Education submits
a request, they hope that when there is a new business establishment of the
country or a city/county or there is a new operating work model in review, they
must obtain opinions given by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry
of Education or they are not allowed to be reviewed and the establishment,
or, both of these two work departments have the power to exercise the rights of
rejection because those new business would cause them not able to perform
their work duties; from the perspectives of city/county development, how
you see the appropriateness of this work procedures?!
I
hope you would like to share your idea about both i and ii. Thank you!
I
raise this question because the news reported topic of Taiwan’s outlying
islands economic and trade special zone on 2025/4/11 and the difference and
similarity I found between Taiwan law system and procedures and the U.K’s
and the U.S’s in my communication with Google Gemini.
(7) Based in Taiwan
and your city, aiming to the development into the international market, and if
we see other countries all of them are unique as an individual channel type, in
2025, the U.S. channel suddenly announced that it would like to
transform, it is similar to a situation that the U.S. Costco its
subsidiary in Taiwan, and Taiwan PX Mart, RT-Mart,
and Carrefour in Taiwan, they plan to become high-end department
stores, or, they only sell high-end products
and they will become a channel for VIP customers, just like the boutique market
in Taiwan. Given the following demand characteristics, how you will
adjust the product mix or price sold to each channel (each country) to achieve
the overall annual financial goals?!
i. Is the
objective status of the original products in your city consistent with the
needs of the VIP customer group you know?! Is it more appropriate for you to promote each type separately or
to select among cities for a best
products combination?! Or is it better to make other adjustments?! To
consider the cost-benefit,
preferences of countries and the balance between quantity and price, it
may result in you having only one or fewer opportunities to promote products to
VIPs. What you will do your business planning?!
ii.They are low-key, prefer products recommended
by familiar customers (unfamiliar, products imported from other countries have
more difficulties in sales), these products users rarely repeat purchases the
same items (products already available in the U. S.) of other brands
(other countries), at the same time, there are changes in the demand of other
channels (other countries) in recent years and it is not always the same, in
its overall situation, I hope could know your opinion about the possibility to
make adjustment in your sales distribution accordingly to their own sales growth
or decrease of each sales channels(each countries)?!
iii. To see the U.S.
as a new customer, a new channel to us, how you will manage this sales channel?!
iv. On the other hand, one
of those important reasons of the U.S.’s channel transformation, the
description is similar to:「I have provided you (the
suppliers, Taiwan, all the importing countries) all the space for your
products display and advertising, and our huge customers and sales
opportunities; however, in my overall market, there is also change to a good or
bad situation, I need to do the transformation now to protect myself and ensure I have enough power to support myself in the future once the market situation
is in a lower situation, therefore, all I need to consider is not only you(all)
but myself.」
Please
let people know how you see this situation?!
Among
the situation of all the markets of other countries, how Taiwan central
government and local governments control and reconcile the resources with each
other to have the best result?! The background of this question is my question
asked in the article of Questions Consulting the Executive Yuan of the Republic Of China, I hope could know how our central government and local governments’
professional work allocation about doing the international marketing work to
promote agricultural
products of our country.
v.There is 1 element won’t change before or after the sales channel transformation, it is, the fundamental need of people of all the countries need to be satisfied, we need to take actions for the change of natural resources(climate, energy) because it cannot be controlled etc., it won’t change because of the change of economic situation. Under this circumstance, please let people know that among the products and services resources in your city/country, how you will co work with other resources owners in Taiwan, your sister cities or countries Taiwan define them as friends?! Why you think it is a proper way to do it?! What is the strength of your city/county or Taiwan?!
vi. Among all the sales
channels of other countries, in short term, if there are many uncertainties in
their policies for managing the suppliers, please share your idea about how Taiwan
should react in this kind of situation.
(8) Based on the talents
recruiting topic in paragraph 1, I hope could consult Mayors the question that
in your interview or talents selecting work process, in this short time spent,
how you can know or how you observe the candidates can do what they’ve said in
the interview after they are hired?!
On the contrary, in the competition of Mayors’ selecting process, it is
like people are choosing the Head of Service Provider for people or other
public officials, regardless the career path of your future work, in the election
campaign, how you let people know you surely can fulfill what you’ve promised
once elected?! Is the way you describe suitable to people who are interviewers or job
seekers to use it?!

(9) Please share your
point of view on dot line reporting line work organization and the way you deal
with it. (Because I’m not familiar with the work organization of the
governments, please assume your work organization is in the situation as my
description. Thank you!)
i.The management
policies of the work environment define that your Chief Accounting Officer, Head
of Department of Government Ethics or Head of Police Department needs to report
to the central government periodically, more than that, people in these
managerial role need to support your local governments’ works in order to have
the best work results of their professional work field of the area you’re
managing. You are the Chief of the local government, and, in the future, you
may be the Chief of a department of the central government or you will be the
President, please allow me to consult you that regarding these Chief of the
departments’ work roles, in your point of view, what important elements should
be considered in the work procedures of
the appointment, work
performance assessment, the
weighting of work performance assessment assessed by local government and
central government and the
way they report to the central government and the reporting frequency etc.,
and, all enable these people work
independently and achieve
their best work result?!
ii.Under the current
electoral system, the political parties of villages heads and their
cities'/counties' Mayors' may differ, and this situation is the same between
the Chief of the departments of the central government and the Chief of the
local governments. If you are in a situation that the Chief of inferior departments
they are of other political parties and working together and refuse to follow
your work direction, they may say they would like to exercise the rights of
freedom of speech in Taiwan to promote idea of another direction of your
work instruction, how you will deal with it?
(10) Please let people know
your religious belief. And please share the most important work spirit ( or
more than 1 work spirit) your religious belief guiding you for your work, or,
what is the spirit you should have in serving the people?! For example: what is
the first priority or what is the most important thing?! I use Buddhism point
of view to explain why I ask religion thing as a question, it is, in Buddhism,
people and all objects that have lives are the same, we are [all living beings],
therefore, we are equal, this is why I ask.
If
you are an atheist, please share your greatest spiritual purpose of serving the
people, and how you would describe the situation that there are other people having
religious belief and they believe Gods and Buddhas exist?!
Please
feel free to share your idea; people feel the religious guidance differently,
you may think it brings you other kind of guidance and there is less related to
your career. Thank you!

(11) According to my
understanding of the right of work description in Article 15 of Constitution
of the Republic of China(Taiwan) and Interpretation No. 15 of Constitutional
Court R.O.C.(Taiwan), Taiwan people have the right of work, we are
free choose our careers; please let people know your idea about the [right
timing] of changing jobs and work [handover] procedures?!
The
background of this question is that whether it is the general public or elected
public officials, including Mayors, Taiwan's laws guarantee that they can
change jobs without having to complete their term of office. Local government
heads can participate in other public office elections before the end of their
term of office, and this is actually a loss for companies and government
election costs, but it cannot stop workers from seeking better career
development opportunities, the main reason is that the Constitution has
explained that the right of choosing jobs is one of the people's well-being;
however, under this electoral system, the major difference between the work
opportunities of the general public and those potential public officials, it is
[the timing of the work opportunities
appear for those public officials are predictable], although it is legal in terms of procedure
for elected public officials to run for other public office before the end of
their term, in fact, in the very
beginning, they have already planned to change their work roles before the end
of their term and do not intend to perform the original elected position. Is
this equivalent to false campaign advertisements or false campaign promises?! They
may can serve more people after they change work roles however, they usually
don’t reveal they have planned to change jobs after elected when they are in the
election campaign, I hope could discuss: because it is public officials,
involving the well-beings of people( it is the promises they gave in election
campaign), the influence is deeper and bigger than what those managers of general
companies have done, how to explain the period of fulfilling the promise in the
original position when running for another election in the middle of the term?! 👈Please share

The most important thing to maintain operational activities
is the purpose of the activities and the funds to support the activities. What
is your opinion on the appropriateness of those additions and deletions to the
budget in its review procedure of the Taiwan Legislative Yuan in 2024-2025?!
The background of
this topic resulted from the news reports that the main focus is on the
situation where opposition legislators cut budgets, which led to the public's
activities to recall public politicians:
i.
Please Mayors let people know how you see the legislators of
your political parties did in the budget review procedure, how you see the
appropriateness in it?!
ii.
The cities and counties governments need the resources from
the budget reviewed results of the central government, please assume you are in
below work roles and share your expectation of the budget reviewed results
accordingly:
-I hope could know Mr. Chiang’s idea, the Mayor of Taipei
City, about his expectation of the reviewed budget result if he is in Mayor
of Kaohsiung City work role.
-What’s the idea of other Mayors of cities’ or counties’ if they
are in the work role of the Mayor of the capital?!
-The point of view of Mayors of their current work roles and
their idea if they are in the work roles of other cities or counties not the Special
Municipality.
iii.
If there is a legal solution that can cancel those
recall campaign, and, the work processes are effective and faster than the
recall and people will 100% support it, in your point of view, what kind of
work program or action it can be?! Therefore, what local governments can do for
it?!
